  Getting here: From Lizzano drive for about 1.5km toward Vidiciatico, then follow the signs for Fanano. At the cross of Masera, follow the sign for Querciola. It’s about 5km away from Lizzano.
  
  This church was built in the spot were a sacred image of the Madonna had been placed; originally, it was the sanctuary of migrants. The building has a rectangular plan, with a wide apse and two chapels on the sides. The main altar houses a well preserved image of the Virgin. The church was built to thank the Madonna for the ‘dried flowers’ miracle; according to the legend, a bunch of dried flowers, that had been placed in front of an image of the Madonna, suddenly bloomed, despite the fact that it was January. This episode is thought to have happened in 1840.
