Getting here: The oratory is between Querciola and Rocca Corneta. From Querciola take the road on the left of the church. About 800mt from La Rovina take the road on the right. Querciola is about 5km from Lizzano.
Opening days: Occasionally in May and in Summer. The celebration is on August the 8th.
The oratory has an interesting façade with a sandstone niche decorated with a pattern of flowers; originally this niche housed an icon that is now missing. The small bell tower has a bell gable, the only example of this kind in the area, together with that of the oratory of San Rocco in Vidiciatico. The building dates back to 1776, although the original structure is probably older (first half of the XVII, as a polyptych in Rocca Corneta suggests). The interior features a beautiful flower box with a painting on wood, made in 1853; the confessional booth has very peculiar doors. The oratory’s annual celebration takes place on August the 8th. -
