  Getting here: From Farnè follow the sign for Chiesina; Cà Julio is just after the river Dardagna.
  
  The mill is well preserved with the original wheel; it features the building that grinded lime and the one that was used to produce electrical power for household consumption (one of the earliest in the area). The Farneti brothers owned it in the past and were the first ones to substitute lime with a slightly different material, more similar to cement, which they transported from the mount Riva with a special cableway. They also used coal which travelled from Tuscany via railway, to Porretta Terme. This is one of the six mills mentioned by Calindri.
