  The villa is a private house and cannot be visited. The cellars though are open to the public; here DOC wine is produced and sold to customers.
  In the XVII century the family Barbazzi built the villa; the following century they organised a small village around it, gravitating on the economy of their wide estates. In 1831, the owner, count Aria, started archaeological excavations that brought to light Etruscan artefacts. The villa is in the area where the wines “Vini Colli Bolognesi” are being produced: these are Pignoletto, white Chardonnay, white Cabernet Sauvignon and red; for more information call “Consorzio Vini Colli Bolognesi” 0039 051 6707752.
