  This beautiful canvas is located on the main altar of the parish church of S. Maria Maddalena in Porretta. It depicts the evangelical scene of "Noli me tangere", which means “don’t touch me”; these are the words spoken by Jesus to Mary Magdalene after his resurrection, as it is written by St John. Christ is depicted standing up on the left and wearing a cape and a wide straw hat; he holds a hoe with his left hand. His body clearly bear the traces of the nails, which indicate that he’s resurrected. The painting is ascribed to Dionigio Calvaert and dates back to the second half of the XVI century; it was probably painted by Calvaert during one of his long stay in Bologna.
