The massif of Corno alle Scale, with its 1945 meters of altitude, is the highest peak of the "Appennino Bolognese". The rocky crags of the Corno alle Scale are a natural environment of rare beauty and integrity, which provide shelter for many precious plant species of which the very summit of Appennino Bolognese is the southern european limit of flowering.
Since 1988 the whole area became part of the Regional Park Parco del Corno alle Scale.
Along the slopes of the massif there are 40 kilometers of ski slopes that characterize the resort, all served by snow-making facilities and excellent accommodation.
You can practice most of Winter Sports.
Besides skiing and alpine skiing, snowboarding enthusiasts can enjoy a modern and challenging snowpark. And for those who prefer hiking, you can immerse yourself in the pristine nature of the 5,000 hectares of the Parco del Corno alle Scale, using snowshoes, sleds pulled by Siberian huskies. Upon request, the service Helitaxi will take you from your home directly on the slopes. -
