The farm house is housed in a 1700 restored stable and hayloft; it is located in the green hills of Bologna and the menu is traditional but with a touch of creativity and with particular attention to seasonal ingredients and typical products of the farms and of the area.
The farm is located in a small village on the hills of the valley of the Samoggia river; the farm started in 1990 from the idea of two sisters and a brother, Michela, Nicola and Sara Russomanno, who decided to restore this ancient fortified building and create a business which would foster local products and this farm, which is 1,000 years old itself.
The old vineyard has been restored and new ones have been planted; the farm produces wines which qualify for DOC of the 'Colli Bolognesi' (Bolognese hills), the production is made with technological innovation but also according to the tradition.
In 1999 the XVIII century stable and the hayloft were restored and the farm holiday was opened; the farm holiday has rooms and a restaurant with traditional cuisine. -
