  This building is extremely old, it probably dates back to the VIII century. In the XIII century it was radically transformed and today we can still see features from that period. This was the first parish of the area of Crespellano. Located on a hill, the church was surrounded by a village; both were abandoned around 1500 due to a devastating fire. Outside the church there is an olive tree which is three centuries old and a dramatic row of black cypresses.
